At Yummii Yummii, we take our social responsibility very seriously. We have our products manufactured in environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. We make sure to recycle cardboard, paper etc. from our deliveries when we send our goods off to our customers.
We would like to help promote the green and sustainable way of life, which is why we are a member of the movement
GoGreen Denmark . GoGreen Danmark is a network for Danish companies that have the will and desire to move their own business and that of others in a more sustainable direction, for the sake of people and the environment. With our membership comes a verification that at least 70% of our core services as a business focus on reducing the environmental burden, minimizing resource and energy consumption as much as possible, and finally our social work. It is therefore a membership we are proud of, and we are happy to be able to contribute to a greener future.
We also aim for the working conditions in our company and at our suppliers to be socially responsible. We work with suppliers in Asia who act on the basis of the UN's conventions on the Global Compact , which is a set of rules dealing with, among other things, child labour, wage standards, respect for the environment and anti-corruption.
Our suppliers of our bags are GOTS certified.
GOTS (The Global Organic Textile Standard) is a standard for organic fibres. It is known and recognized throughout the world. GOTS includes independent certification of the entire supply chain.
GOTS controls ingredients from the production and harvesting of raw materials, through processing to the finished product, and provides a credible guarantee for environmentally and socially responsible production to the final consumer.
Last but not least, we try to inspire and encourage that we take care of the environment by using less plastic and disposable packaging on various social platforms.
